Puppies Have Arrived!

Lilly and just born Golden Retriever puppies

What an eventful day! Lily welcomed her first puppy at 7:00am and her last one at 8:00pm. She gave birth to five boys and three girls. After the long and tiring process, she was exhausted but soon had them lined up and sleeping. It’s amazing how she splits the litter into two groups, one sleeps while the other nurses. She is an excellent mother. For the next couple of days, we will leave them alone and they will just eat and sleep under a 90-degree heat lamp.
